In venous blood collection, control, safety and an efficient workflow are essential. The VenoFlow™ PRO safety blood collection needle combines visual support during puncture with an integrated safety mechanism after use. The flashback window provides the user with direct visual confirmation of venous access: as soon as blood becomes visible in the window, the healthcare professional can see that the vein has been entered. This supports a controlled venipuncture and may be particularly valuable in patients with veins that are difficult to access, small or fragile.
After blood collection, the safety mechanism can be easily activated with one hand. The needle is shielded, helping to reduce the risk of accidental contact with the used needle. The mechanism is irreversible: once activated, the needle cannot be reused. This supports a safe and hygienic workflow and contributes to reducing needlestick injuries during the blood collection procedure.
The VenoFlow™ PRO is suitable for venous blood collection in professional healthcare environments and can be used in combination with compatible blood collection tubes. If required, multiple tubes can be connected consecutively without changing the needle. This allows the required volume of blood to be collected efficiently and in a controlled manner.
The needle is made of high-quality steel and has a sharp, precise tip for controlled puncture. The VenoFlow™ PRO is available in common sizes, including 21G and 22G, with or without a pre-attached holder.
