These tubes have an inner wall coating with spray-dried lithium and are excellent for analysis in clinical chemistry. The additive has an anticoagulant function and blocks the coagulation cascade.
Instructions
-Mixing Indication: Gently invert the tube 6-8 times immediately after blood collection
-Minimum time for spin: N/A
-Maximum time for centrifugation: 2 hours after blood collection
-Spin speed: 1600-2000g for 10 minutes, with a temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius
-Sample preservation: after centrifugation, see the following table for the applicable maximum preservation time per storage temperature:
