Transfer Pipettes provide a practical solution for aspirating, transferring and dispensing liquids drop by drop. AHN® myPette® Transfer Pipettes combine an integrated aspirating bulb with a clear pipette stem and can therefore be used without a separate pipette controller.
The Transfer Pipettes are available in volumes of 1 and 3 mL. They are suitable for a wide range of routine applications in research, education and industrial laboratories. Depending on the version, they are supplied sterile or non-sterile and in bulk or individually wrapped.
The soft, elastic aspirating bulb allows liquids to be aspirated and dispensed using one hand. By applying controlled pressure to the bulb, liquids can be dispensed drop by drop or in a continuous stream.
The smoothly finished orifice supports even and controlled liquid dispensing. This makes the Transfer Pipettes suitable for procedures requiring the rapid and convenient transfer of small liquid volumes.
The clear pipette stem makes the aspirated liquid easy to observe. External graduation marks support rapid visual checks and provide an indication of the liquid volume during aspiration and dispensing.
The graduations are intended for routine volume estimation. Applications requiring calibrated volumetric accuracy should be performed using an appropriate calibrated laboratory pipette.
AHN® myPette® Transfer Pipettes are manufactured from non-toxic, medical-grade LDPE that meets applicable US FDA requirements. The flexible material supports comfortable pipetting and is suitable for use with a variety of scientific and industrial liquids.
The Transfer Pipettes are manufactured in an ISO 8 cleanroom. The controlled manufacturing environment and smooth internal surface support consistent product quality and help limit the risk of product-related contamination.
The 1 and 3 mL versions are available in several packaging configurations. Bulk packaging, including sterile inner packs, is available for routine use. Individually wrapped Transfer Pipettes are also available for procedures in which separate removal is preferred.
