Touchmed Film I.V. is a sterile, transparent, highly breathable pad designed to securely fix catheters and cannulae, keeping the insertion site clean and visible. The structure of the film, with Steam Bubbles technology, and the special acrylic adhesive layer make this dressing much more breathable than other films on the market. The area in the immediate vicinity of the cut, thanks to the TNT reinforcement, guarantees a stable and secure grip of the needle and thus of the entire catheter, and also signals any leaks that are visible.
The Steam Bubbles technology, with microspheres applied to the entire surface of the film, makes Touchmed Film IV highly performing; this particular structure provides a larger exchange surface, directly proportional to the increase in gas exchange with the outside world. Touchmed Film I.V. guarantees complete protection of the insertion site, which is made impermeable to liquids and other contaminants. The dressing is flexible, thin and very easy to handle. The attachment system is simple, intuitive and fast, even with gloves on.
