Product description

The Titan-Port Specials implantable port catheter systems are available in six different types.

The Titan-Ports are made of titanium (with the exception of the Titan-Port G and F), which brings the following advantages:

  • MRI compatible

TITAN-PORT APH:

Implantable port catheter system for extracorporeal apheresis.

Indications:      

  • Long-term high-volume venous access to the central vascular system.
  • Therapeutic apheresis    

Product specifications:

  • With single-lumen catheter
  • Self-healing silicone membrane
  • Easy and secure screw connection between port chamber and catheter
  • Pressure stability
  • Sufficient flow and persistence only with accompanying special cannulae       
  • Latex-free                                                         

TITAN-PORT AS/PT:

Implantable port catheter system for ascites puncture and peritoneal therapy.

Indications:                                                                                 

  • Ascites puncture
  • Peritoneal therapy

Product Specifications:

  • Catheter with perforations.
  • Self-healing silicone membrane
  • Simple and secure screw connection between port chamber and catheter
  • Pressure stability
  • Sufficient flow and persistence only with the corresponding special cannulae
  • Latex-free


TITAN-PORT D:

Implantable port catheter system for venous - venous hemodialysis - single lumen - double lumen.

Indications:                                                                               

  • Venous access in renal failure
  • Venous access with large lumen

Product specifications:

  • With single or double lumen catheter
  • Self-healing silicone membrane
  • Simple and secure screw connection between port chamber and catheter
  • Pressure stability
  • Sufficient flow and persistence only with the corresponding special cannulae
  • Latex-free


TITAN-PORT F:

(Fetal port) Prenatal port system.

Indications:      

  • Intrauterine growth restriction caused by placental insufficiency (IUGR) AFR-PORT (amniotic fluid replacement PORT-SYSTEM).
  • Early membranous birth with anhydramnion (PPROM)

Product specifications:

Fetal:
Contraindication: posteriorly located placenta.
Purpose: Improve fetal growth, prolong pregnancy.
Use: long-term administration of umbilical vein nutrients such as amino acids and glucose through the portal system.
Period: during the 24-32nd week of pregnancy with IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction) estimated fetal weight <10th percentile, pathological Doppler ultrasound monitoring findings.
Placement: port implantation can only be performed in pregnant women with anterior or anterior-lateral placenta.
Duration: daily, volume of intra-umbilical infusion limited to 10% of estimated feto-placental blood volume per day.                                                     

AFR:
Contraindication: cervical insufficiency, infection, contractions
Purpose: Prolongation of pregnancy, reduction of perinatal morbidity and mortality
Use: long-term amnioinfusion through a subcutaneously implanted port system
Period: between 22-30th week of pregnancy in PPROM until delivery to replace fluid loss
Placement: ultrasound-guided placement of catheter in the amniotic cavity
Duration: contiunuous infusion of 50-120 ml/h Amnion Flush Solution via port system

 

TITAN-PORT G:

Implantable port catheter system.

Indications:                                                                                 

  • Long-term venous access.
  • Systemic chemotherapy
  • Drug delivery
  • Regional chemotherapy
  • Pain therapy
  • Blood sampling, poor vascular status
  • Prolonged infusion therapy and parenteral nutrition

Product specifications:

  • Specialty: no more requirement for special port needles!
  • Self-healing silicone membrane
  • Simple and secure screw connection between port chamber and catheter
  • Pressure stability
  • Catheter with additional side holes and length markings
  • Optimized design
  • Simple handling
  • Long-term high quality
  • Latex-free

One port for all needles:

  • Technical failures excluded > increased safety
  • Cost savings by using "normal" needles for puncture
  • No punching defects in the membrane of the port

Set consists of:
1 Titan-Port, 1 single-lumen catheter, 1 special puncture needle, 1 introducer set, 1 tunnelizer, 1 port needle, 1 vein lifter and 1 coil needle.

 

TITAN-PORT UA:

Implantable port catheter systems e.g. upper arm.

Indications:                                                                               

  • Long-term venous access.
  • Systemic chemotherapy
  • Drug delivery
  • Regional chemotherapy
  • Pain therapy
  • Blood sampling, poor vascular situation
  • Prolonged infusion therapy and parenteral nutrition

  • Catheter with extra hole on the side
  • Self-sealing silicone membrane
  • Simple and secure screw connection between port chamber and catheter
  • Pressure stability
