ISO 80369-6:2016 is the international standard that specifies the requirements for small diameter connectors intended for
connections in neuraxial applications.
Neuraxial Applications include the use of medical devices intended for to administer medication to neuraxial sites, wound infiltrating delivery of anesthesia and other regional
anesthesia procedures, or to provide cerebrospinal fluid
check or remove for therapeutic or diagnostic purposes.
NRFit® is the preferred and only connector for neuraxial and
regional anesthesia devices, and is not compatible with
Luer-type connectors.
