AHN® myTip® Robotic Tips are designed for automated liquid-handling systems. Their tight manufacturing tolerances provide an accurate connection to the intended instrument and support reliable liquid aspiration and dispensing. The tips are validated on the relevant instrument system to support effective integration into automated laboratory workflows.
The range includes different versions for Dynex® DSX® and DS2® instruments, Tecan® Freedom EVO® systems with a LiHa® arm and the Bio Molecular Systems Myra® liquid-handling system. As compatibility depends on the instrument system and its configuration, the appropriate tip version should always be confirmed before use.
Dynex®-type Robotic Tips are designed for use with Dynex® DSX® and DS2® instruments. They are manufactured to tight tolerances and validated on the relevant instruments. This supports consistent positioning and reliable performance in automated workflows.
The tips are available in two volumes:
The distinctive blue colour of the 300 µL tip enables quick visual identification. The tips are supplied ready for use in racks.
Transparent deep-well dilution strips with eight wells are also available for automated dilution processes. The strips are made from polypropylene and are suitable for use with Dynex® DSX® and DS2® instruments and other compatible robotic systems.
Tecan®-type Robotic Tips are developed for automated liquid handling with Tecan® Freedom EVO® systems equipped with a LiHa® arm. These include the Freedom EVO® 100, 150 and 200 with Liquid Handling Arm and the Freedom EVO® 75 8+1. The tips are validated on the relevant instrument system to support reliable integration.
Tecan®-type tips are available in volumes of 10, 50, 200 and 1,000 µL. Depending on the application, users can select transparent non-conductive tips or black carbon-embedded conductive tips. The conductive version supports liquid-level detection on suitably configured instrument systems.
Filter tips are available in addition to standard tips. The polyethylene filter creates a barrier against aerosols and helps reduce the risk of contamination of the sample, pipetting channels and subsequent samples.
Depending on the version, non-sterile, sterile and sterile filtered tips are available. The tips are supplied in blister packs or space-saving flip boxes with colour-coded trays for quick volume identification.
Myra®-type Robotic Tips are designed for use with the Bio Molecular Systems Myra® liquid-handling system. They have a volume range of 0.2 to 50 µL, a length of 39.50 mm and are supplied as clear tips ready for use in racks.
The tips are manufactured from USP Class VI resin and feature a highly hydrophobic inner surface. This low-retention surface reduces the adhesion of liquids and biomolecules to the inner wall, minimising residual liquid. It supports high sample recovery when working with small volumes and valuable samples, including DNA, RNA and protein solutions.
The filtered version helps limit liquid bypass and the spread of aerosols, providing an additional barrier against cross-contamination. The tips are certified free of RNase, DNase and pyrogens.
The Robotic Tips are manufactured under controlled cleanroom conditions. Dynex®- and Tecan®-type tips are produced from USP Class VI raw materials. Tecan®-type tips are made from premium-grade virgin polypropylene and manufactured in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom.
