Graduation marks allow the remaining liquid volume to be checked visually. The angled interior helps collect liquid at the bottom of the reservoir, reducing the residual volume and helping minimise reagent waste.
Corner spouts make it easier to transfer remaining liquid into a suitable storage container in a controlled manner. The reservoirs can be stacked to reduce the required storage space. A lip at the bottom helps users separate stacked reservoirs easily.
The rigid AHN® myReservoir® Reagent Reservoirs are available in three versions:
- 10 mL with a V-shaped bottom, suitable for 8- and 16-channel pipettes;
- 25 mL with a flat bottom, suitable for multichannel pipettes;
- 50 mL with a V-shaped bottom, suitable for 12-channel pipettes.
AHN® myReservoir® Foldable Reagent Reservoirs
The Foldable Reagent Reservoirs are supplied as flat sheets and can be formed in three steps before use. Pushing the outer sides inwards and subsequently moving the triangular ends towards the centre creates a stable reservoir.
The flat-pack design reduces the space required during transport and storage. The reservoirs also occupy very little workbench space before assembly. Their sturdy polypropylene construction supports stable positioning during pipetting.
The V-shaped bottom concentrates the liquid at the bottom of the reservoir. This helps reduce bubble formation and residual liquid and supports efficient reagent aspiration.
The Foldable Reagent Reservoirs are available as:
- a 30 mL version for 8- and 16-channel pipettes;
- a 40 mL version for 12-channel pipettes.
