Rack boxes for pipette tips

AHN® myTip® RB Rack Boxes are empty, reusable rack boxes designed for the organised positioning and storage of pipette tips. The boxes can be filled manually with compatible bulk tips and are also suitable for use with insert plates from the AHN® myTip® Reload System. Refilling and reusing the rack box reduces the need for new plastic boxes.

The rack boxes can be opened and closed with one hand. Their secure closure keeps the lid safely in position during use and storage. The stackable design allows multiple boxes to be stored neatly, making efficient use of the available space on the laboratory bench and in storage areas.

The insert plates feature an 8 × 12 layout with 96 positions and a standard 9 mm SBS spacing. This enables efficient tip pickup using both single-channel and commonly used multichannel pipettes.

The colour of the insert plate indicates the compatible tip volume. Light grey insert plates are used for 10 µL and 10 µL XL tips, yellow insert plates for 200 µL, 300 µL and 200 µL Gelloader tips, and blue insert plates for 1,000 and 1,250 µL tips. This makes it easy to identify the correct combination of rack box, pipette tip and pipette.

The rack boxes are supplied without pipette tips and are available in various versions for tip volumes ranging from 10 to 1,250 µL. Please consult the product table to select the appropriate rack box for the required pipette tip type.
