The connectors feature a needle-free split septum that functions as an effective microbial barrier. The flat, “swabable” silicone contact surface supports standardized disinfection protocols and contributes to infection prevention during repeated use. This makes the valves suitable for frequent connection and disconnection.
The transparent housing provides clear visibility of the fluid pathway and supports proper flushing and priming, contributing to safe and controlled administration.
