Accurate and reproducible pipetting is essential for reliable laboratory results. We offer a comprehensive range of AHN® laboratory pipettes for the controlled aspiration, transfer and dispensing of liquids. The range includes manual and electronic models, available as single-channel, 8-channel and 12-channel pipettes. Depending on the model, users can choose between fixed and adjustable volumes, with volume ranges extending from sub-microlitre volumes up to 10 mL.
Several manual pipette ranges are available for both general and specialised laboratory procedures. The myPette® Pro combines a magnet-assisted piston with an innovative spring and sealing system. This reduces the force required to operate the pipette. Low tip-ejection forces, an easy-to-read four-digit display and a one-handed volume-locking mechanism contribute to comfortable and controlled operation.
The pipet4u® Pro is available with either a fixed or adjustable volume and has been designed for comfortable everyday use. Its ergonomic handle incorporates soft TPE components that help reduce the transfer of heat from the user’s hand to the internal components. This supports stable performance during extended pipetting sessions. A locking mechanism prevents accidental volume adjustments, while the blow-out function helps dispense the final drop of liquid. Depending on the application, reverse pipetting can be used for difficult-to-pipette or viscous liquids.
The myPette® EL³ range features a cylindrical connection mechanism between the pipette and the pipette tip. This system allows tips to be attached and ejected with less force while maintaining a consistent seal. Combined with optimal weight distribution, a magnet-assisted piston and low plunger forces, this helps reduce physical strain during repetitive pipetting. A volume lock prevents accidental changes to the selected volume during use.
Electronic pipettes are available for users who require additional process support and programmable functions. These models feature a bright OLED display and several programs for standard pipetting, dispensing, reverse pipetting and mixing. The pipetting speed and calibration can also be adjusted, for example when working with liquids of different viscosities. The integrated speed-control system regulates piston movement and supports consistent, accurate dispensing.
The pipettes are primarily manufactured from high-quality, impact-resistant and chemical-resistant plastics. Depending on the model, durable PVDF tip cones, soft TPE grip components and corrosion-resistant internal components are used. The pipettes are autoclavable at 121 °C for 15 minutes and are UV resistant. On the electronic models, the pipette cone can only be autoclaved.
With a choice of volume ranges, configurations and channel options, a suitable pipette can be selected for virtually any routine or specialised liquid-handling application. The pipettes are available on request. Please contact us for advice on selecting the appropriate model and compatible pipette tips.
