Heparin tubes

Product description

These tubes have an anti-clotting additive in the form of either Lithium Heparin or Sodium Heparin (see the product table below for the various options). This makes these tubes extremely suitable for parameters to be determined in clinical chemistry.

Instructions

-Mixing Indication: Gently invert the tube 6-8 times immediately after blood collection
-Minimum time for spin: N/A
-Maximum time for centrifugation: 2 hours after blood collection
-Spin speed: 1300g for 10 minutes, with a temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius
-Sample preservation: after centrifugation, see the following table for the applicable maximum preservation time per storage temperature:

Up to 24°C      Between 2 - 4°C    Below -20°C

< 8 hours         8-48 hours              >48 hours
