The HEPA-CUT set is a complete set for performing liver biopsy in accordance with the traditional Menghini method. The set consists of the following components:

1 x Biopsy cannula
1 x Auto-block syringe 12ml
1 x Scalpel
1 x Hypodermic needle

  • Ultra-sharp cutting edge of cannula results in more than sufficient sampling
  • Special inner plug prevents the biopsy from ending up in the syringe
  • Specially designed 'self-springing' lock mechanism prevents absolute safety against accidental release of the syringe plunger
  • The set composition facilitates the performance of the procedure and avoids contamination
