HARTMANN Sterillium® Med is a ready-to-use liquid hand disinfectant for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. Its formulation contains 85 grams of ethanol per 100 grams and provides a broad spectrum of efficacy, including full virucidal activity within the application time for hygienic hand disinfection.

Compared with regular Sterillium®, Sterillium® Med provides a broader spectrum of activity against viruses. Whereas the regular Sterillium® formulation has limited-spectrum virucidal PLUS efficacy, Sterillium® Med is fully virucidal and is effective against viruses including norovirus, adenovirus and rotavirus. This makes it particularly suitable for environments where broad protection against viral pathogens is required throughout the year.

Sterillium® Med is free from colourants and fragrances, making it especially suitable for frequent use and for users with sensitive skin. The proven Sterillium® skincare complex helps increase skin hydration with regular use and supports the preservation of the skin’s natural elasticity, smoothness and pH value.

The product is applied undiluted to dry hands and can be used without water or a washbasin.

In the Netherlands, Sterillium® Med is authorised under Ctgb registration number 13451N.

Sterillium® Med is intended for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection in environments including:

• hospitals and clinics;
• nursing and residential care facilities;
• general practices and other healthcare settings;
• laboratories and diagnostic departments;
• home care and home dialysis;
• other professional environments requiring a high standard of hand hygiene.

For hygienic hand disinfection, completely wet the dry hands with the product and keep them moist for the specified contact time.
