Atrauman® is a range of sterile, non-adherent wound contact layers for professional wound care use. The dressings are suitable for superficial acute and chronic wounds, such as burns, traumatic wounds, ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic foot wounds. Depending on the wound and the intended application, healthcare professionals can choose between standard Atrauman®, silver-containing Atrauman® Ag or the silicone variant Atrauman® Silicone.
Atrauman®
Atrauman® is impregnated with a neutral, non-medicated ointment mass. This wound contact layer helps reduce adherence to the wound and supports low-pain dressing changes.
Atrauman® Ag
Atrauman® Ag contains elemental silver and is suitable when antibacterial support is desired, for example for wounds with an increased risk of infection. Upon contact with wound exudate, silver ions are released, providing the dressing with an antibacterial effect.
Atrauman® Silicone
Atrauman® Silicone is coated with silicone on both sides. This variant is particularly suitable for fragile or sensitive skin and supports atraumatic, low-pain removal.
