Chiba aspiration needles

Product description

We supply two types of Chiba needles, the COMPLETE-CHIBA® needles and the ECOCHIBA® needles. Below are the product features per type.

COMPLETE-CHIBA®

  • Quincke-type tip facilitates penetration and makes it less invasive
  • MRI Compatible in various models (Product code MR)
  • Ultra-thin-walled cannula allows for abundant sample collection
  • Easy-to-read centimeter markings and slide stopper facilitate accurate depth placement
  • Internal echo marker provides clear ultrasound visibility
  • Transparent hub with double magnification lens and phase tooth for the insertion needle
  • The hub is color-coded for easier determination of the needle size (gauge).


ECOCHIBA®

This needle has the same features as the COMPLETE-CHIBA® needles, but is made of ECHONOX®. This material makes the entire needle length visible under ultrasound. This has several advantages:

  • Always the clearest possible visibility during the procedure
  • Reduction of the risk of 'seeding'
  • Safe targeting of deep lesions
  • Both needle types are available in different gauges and centimeter lengths, see the product table for more details.
