Buddy Safe Adapter for Baxter infusion bags

Product description

The Buddy Safe Adapter is designed for the preparation and transfer of medicinal products and solutions, including cytotoxic and chemotherapeutic drugs, using compatible Baxter infusion bags with a capacity of 100 ml or more.

The adapter connects to the infusion bag via a protected metal needle. The irreversible anti-disconnection system keeps the adapter permanently in place. This helps reduce the risk of accidental disconnection, leakage and exposure to medicinal products.

The female Luer Lock connection allows a syringe or another compatible male Luer Lock connector to be attached. The silicone membrane opens upon connection and automatically closes after disconnection, allowing multiple fluid transfers through the same adapter.
