The Polysafety IV cannulas offer you the possibility to administer in a user-friendly and safe manner. The self-activating safety mechanism with unique design significantly reduces the risk of needle stick incidents: the Needle Safety Guard system automatically covers the sharp needle point during needle insertion.
In addition, the injection port features an easy-to-handle snap-fit cap, and the product is fitted with a special tapered and kink-resistant PUR radiopaque catheter for easy insertion with optimal flow rate.
The Polysafety cannulas are manufactured from proven biocompatible materials, allowing a longer in-situ time safely. Finally, all available sizes are color-coded according to the applicable international standards.
We supply these cannulas in a wide range of sizes (14G to 24G) and in two versions: with or without double flashback. The double flashback version has the additional feature that successful puncture can already be seen in the needle tip, by means of the Adva needle technology. In the single flashback version, successful puncture can only be seen in the chamber, so at a later stage. In the product tables at the bottom of this page you will find all available sizes and versions.
