The Polysafety Blood Control infusion needles offer you a further risk reduction in addition to the standard Polysafety infusion needles. The unique design with the Silicon Septum Barrier further reduces the risk of exposure to and/or contamination with blood, so that the infusion site remains as clean and hygienic as possible. This further reduces the risk of transmission of blood-borne pathogens (such as HBV, HCV and HIV).
Like the standard Polysafety needles, the Blood Control needle also features the needle safety system to prevent needle stick accidents, as well as the flexible and perforated wings.
The Polysafety Blood Control needles are manufactured from proven biocompatible materials, allowing a longer in-situ time safely. Finally, all available sizes are fully color-coded according to the applicable international standards.
