This set enables you to work safely and hygienically. This integrated I.V. catheter system reduces the number of operations required, reducing the risk of infection and accidental disconnection.
The MicroClave Clear Connectors reduce the risk of catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI). The transparent sleeve allows you to have a good view of the flow at all times, and minimizes the reflux of blood into the catheter tip during (dis)connection. This MicroClave Clear connector has a number of very valuable features that make all the difference in practice:
In addition, this system is equipped with the Quick Flashback needle technique, so that you can immediately see whether the venipuncture is successful: this is immediately visible in the needle tip, where the flow of the blood can be visually confirmed. Naturally, this system also includes a user-friendly and self-activating safety mechanism, making needle stick incidents a thing of the past.
The Nouvo Safety Set is manufactured from proven biocompatible materials, allowing a longer in-situ time safely. Finally, all available sizes are fully color-coded according to the applicable international standards.
This set is available in different compositions, for example with two needleless connectors and a Straight Port, or with a three-way tap and a MicroClave Clear Connector. See the product table for all options.
