These pre-filled syringes provide additional safety and time savings when flushing IV lines, reducing the risk of CRBSI (catheter-related infections) and needle stick incidents. The number of manual operations in the flushing process is also reduced, because these syringes can be used immediately.
The C-Lock syringes are intended for the periodic maintenance of vascular accesses. The function of the product is to keep the central venous catheters patent, while also having an anticoagulant function in the catheter lumen.
The syringes are suitable for use in the sterile field, and are available in three different versions:
C-Lock 4%: pre-filled with 4% tribasic Sodium Citrate
C-Lock 30%: pre-filled with 30% tribasic Sodium Citrate
C-Lock 46,7%: pre-filled with 46,7% tribasic Sodium Citrate
The syringes are equipped with a universal Luer Lock connector.
