These blunt transfer needles are suitable for use with all common syringes and the specific design reduces the risk of needle stick injuries. Instead of using a regular injection needle with its sharp needle tip, these blunt needles improve the end user safety as a needle with sharp needle tip only comes into play once the medication has been withdrawn already.
The SteriFlow™ blunt needles are suitable for use with viscous liquids, can be used with both single and multi-dose vials, and are fitted with a red protective hub.
Next to the standard draw-up needles without filter, we also supply draw-up needles with filter. In addition to the standard draw-up needles, these Blunt Filter Needles contain a 5 micron filter to ensure effective filtration of contaminant particles such as glass, metal, rubber and other materials.

| Applications | Blunt Fill Needles are used for the draw-up of medication, re-constitution of medication and for accessing IV bags. They are increasingly used to replace standard hypodermic needles and further reduce the risk of needle-stick injuries. When drawing from a glass ampoule, the blunt filter needles are often used to filter out particles. |
