To address the risk of application errors, ISO 80369-6 connectors for medical devices worldwide gradually introduced.
This to replace the currently usual Luer type
connectors. Sampling and Delivery Devices Intended for neuraxial applications and for regional anesthesia will be from now on only use ISO 80369-6 connectors.
Neuraxial connectors are labeled 'NRFit®' and are
colored yellow where practical for easy identification.
