If the time between blood draw and analysis is too long, the in vitro glucose concentration will drop as a result of continued glycolysis. This is prevented by using these glycolysis inhibitor tubes, ensuring reliable analysis of the blood glucose concentration.
Instructions
-Mixing Indication: Gently invert the tube 6-8 times immediately after blood collection
-Minimum time for spin: N/A
-Maximum time for centrifugation: 48 hours after blood collection
-Spin speed: 1300g for 10 minutes, with a temperature of 20-25 degrees Celsius
-Sample preservation: store at room temperature or refrigerated (2-8 degrees Celsius)
Warning: The presence of Na2 EDTA may interfere with some methods used for dosing LACTATE. The end user should check the compatibility with the applied analytical methods.
